Prepare

This is a mission pre-planning phase. It is not something to take lightly. You have all the time you want to learn, consider, then act.

Divide your play table into three parts - mission 2, mission 3, mission 4.

Mission Cards

Find and place the Mission 2, 3, and 4 cards in their section of the table.

Map Platters

Find the map platters listed on the mission cards and set them with their mission card.

Foe Cards

Gather the following Foe cards and place them with their mission cards.

Mission 2

Desperate Whisperer, Irate Ugly, Leaping Ghoul, Relentless Ghast, Vile Spectre, Wandering Whisperer

Mission 3

Brutal Slaught, Hunting Hound, Stinging Scutl, Stealthy Vypr, Striking Vypr, Watchful Clubber

Mission 4

Aggressive Snarle, Ambitious Snarle, Annoying Midge, Berserk Minotaur, Deft Buk, Flaying Naga

Allocate Heroes

Once you have reviewed all relevant information, place eight heroes with each of the three missions, using all 24 heroes. No changing your minds afterward! Then move on to Mission 2: Devourers.

Record Assignments

Keep those heroes in three separate stacks through these next three missions. You may wish to record your assignments with photos.
