About eight minutes pass on my training instruction before Muli starts pacing. “You teach little kids on your day off? Because this is boring. Let’s speed it up. I’ll figure it out as we go. I know how to fight.”

I shrug. “Sure.” We spar, and he does a decent job, though I could have brought him up faster if he’d been willing to listen. Unfortunately, I get the sense he considers me boring as a general rule.
