Mose catches me alone. Of course, he has spyflies hovering around his head, so I guess we’re not alone.

“I wanted you to know I’m not a security risk anymore. I won’t be prying. I plan on being your best athlete.”

I nod. “We’ll see what people more important than me have to say about that.”

I meet with Lev and Security Man later. They watch the video of me talking to Mose.

Security Man is unimpressed. “I’m not letting him slide with just an apology.”

“He wasn’t apologizing,” I answer, “You needed to be in the room with him to read him. He said what he said as a statement of fact.”

“What are you saying?” says Minister Lev.

“Well...he could be someone who never feels the need to apologize,” I say. “Or, maybe he got the answers he was looking for and he’s done looking. Regardless, he’d perform better if he weren’t a prisoner.”

“Not going to happen,” says Security Man.

“We’ll see,” says Lev.

Two days later, the spyflies and trackers are removed from Mose, replaced with words of stern warning from Security Man to both Mose and myself.

Draw a small circle in Mose’s Sway box.
