Haunted Tower
Special Foe Placement
ALL foes begin on-map, in the Tower key. Place one foe randomly per space on the key. They act normally, free to leave the tower.
The Tower is haunted. When any foe is defeated, place them in the Pit rather than Underpit. If that foe suffered toxic wounds on the defeating attack, however, place them in the Underpit.
During foe Reinforce, renew one foe with the earliest alphabetical ID from the Pit (not Underpit) and place them in the center of the Tower, or the nearest open cavern space (in terms of movement) if the center is occupied. Be sure to give them their starting gold, if any.
Tower Treasure
Place 2 gold in each cavern space of the Tower key. Place an extra gold in the center key. This is 15 gold total.
If at the end of the mission, 2 or less gold is lying in the Tower cavern spaces, the heroes gain 1 Glory. Otherwise, the foes win 1 Glory. Include gold dropped by defeated combatants.
In this mission, foes will never pick up loot nor use Special Goal #3.
Reinforce
Because all foes begin in the Tower, the foes have no one to bring on during Reinforce.
