Mission Prelude 1/2

In the staging area, Mikhail is trying to calm his sister down. They have a sharp verbal exchange, then a worse one a few minutes later. Angi has tears on her cheek. Mikhail rubs his hands through his hair often. He’s as wracked up as she is.

Give both Angi and Mikhail a Problem card.

After Angi calms down, the staging area goes quiet. The few conversations going on are in whispers.

I decide to sit down next to Mose, who is trying to fix something on his shoe.

“Coach.”

“Need new shoes?”

He picks a strand off his toe. “I’m just getting these the way I like.”
