I explain my belief that the ladder was a safe means of exercise for experienced athletes. I acknowledge that Angi’s death was a result of that belief, but it seemed to me to be an extraordinary event for such a talented athlete and extraordinary acrobat.

I receive mostly voiceless stares. And yet, oddly, it seems no one is willing to argue with me.
